Deconstructed~Has arrived at American Home & Garden~!!

My new fascination is with beautiful French deconstructed chairs and settees.  I found six amazing chairs in the deconstructed state with the intention of recovering them, using old grain sacks or monogrammed linen.  After seeing them in their raw form I noticed the beauty of these pieces.  When paired with a beautiful gilt mirror and French Chandelier they make a gorgeous vignette.  I've decided to keep a couple of the chairs and use them in my house, I prefer to not pair them up, but to use them in separate  places one in my guest bedroom and one in my living room.  Here is my inspiration photo from one of my favorite blogs La Brocanteuse:

Colette from La Brocanteuse Blog has written a beautiful blog post on deconstructed French chairs check it out here
Here is another photo from Collette's blog:

I just reworked my booth space at American Home & Garden for Fall and brought in 2 of the chairs.  I'm loving the look of the French Grey with Gold velvet on these beauties.  Each are hand carved, with the original burlap seats and old nail heads.

Grey is my new white, such a beautiful rich neutral color.  I have brought in a gorgeous Austrian Armoire and French farm table in the same color palette.  I'm loving the gold gilt mirrors and frames paired with the grey!  You all know I'm addicted to suitcases and dress forms and I think you will love the selection at American Home & Garden!
This picture taken at my home in my entry way.  Even my dress form are left in the deconstructed state!

The dealers at American Home & Garden have been reworking their booth spaces and bringing in the Fall items and collections.  Hurry over for the best selection!

More photo's to come.....thanks for visiting today!!~
