Those of you that know me know I'm addicted to Toleware and Victorian Wire, especially if I can use it in my garden! I have been collecting for over 20 years, adding pieces mostly found at flea markets, antique shows and antique stores. I love when summer arrives, when I can bring out my pieces and start setting up vignettes. My garden is now in full bloom, one of the prettiest times of the year. May and June are my favorite months, the heat has not climbed into the 100's yet and everything looks so green, fresh and full of color. I just wanted to share with you some of my tole tables and Victorian wire tables and plant stands.
This is one of my most favorite finds, look at all those fabulous roses in the center of the table! I also have matching tole chairs! One of the best places to sit in the back garden. This picture will be going into Jeanne d'Arc's new garden book French Atmospheres and will also be in one of their upcoming magazine issues as well. We will be announcing our new website coming in August 2011.
This is one of my newest finds, this is a Victorian table and plant stand, 2 pieces. I just love how they look together. I'm showing this in my front yard .....now you can see why I love this time of year! I have my vintage sap buckets displayed on the table and some roses from around the garden on the plant stand.
This is a picture of my koi pond, made using a large galvanized horse trough! We have 5 koi in there! My Iris just happened to be in bloom...
I love grasses mixed in with Roses, Iris and Geranium. My garden is mostly made up of pinks, purples, grays, whites and a touch of yellow. The wall behind the grass is my fence line.....lined with 150 climbing Rose Eden. These bloom from March to November.
I hope you have enjoyed the garden tour. I have so much more to show you, but I need to save some for another post!
